This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and related services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: If you register an account or log in using a third-party service (e.g., Apple ID, Google Account), we may collect your ID, nickname, profile picture, and email address.
- User-Generated Content: Any feedback, reviews, or text you input while using our services.
1.2 Camera and Image Data (Core Feature)
To provide our core "photo recognition and translation" feature, we require access to your device's Camera and Photo Library.
- How we use it: Images you capture or select are used strictly for identifying objects and providing vocabulary learning services.
- Data Processing & Storage: Images are temporarily and securely uploaded to our third-party cloud service provider (Volcengine) for AI recognition. We do not store your images permanently, nor do we use your photos to train AI models. Images are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Hardware model, operating system, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, IDFV), IP address, and network information.
- Usage Logs: Information about your interactions with the App, including access times, features used, and crash logs.
- Purchase Information: If you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, Apple's App Store processes your payment. We do not directly collect or store your financial data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionalities.
- To process your subscriptions and manage your account.
- To analyze usage trends and optimize user experience.
- To deliver personalized advertisements and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activities.
3. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
To improve our services and measure marketing campaigns, we integrate third-party SDKs. These third parties may collect information about your device and in-app behaviors.

Opt-Out: You can limit ad tracking via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: Third-party vendors (cloud hosting, analytics, advertising) who perform services on our behalf.
- For Legal Reasons: If required by law, court order, or governmental request.

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
